These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the SatzoneUK Affiliate Programme (“Programme”). By applying to or participating in the Programme, you (“you”, “Affiliate”) agree to be bound by these Terms. We reserve the right to update these Terms or the Commissionable Products & Rates at any time; continued participation constitutes acceptance of changes.
1. Eligibility and Enrollment
1.1 You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts.
1.2 Enrollment requires submission of an application via the dedicated online application form (link provided in the affiliate portal). We may approve or reject applications at our sole discretion.
1.3 Approved Affiliates will receive a unique affiliate link (“Affiliate Link”) for tracking referrals and access to the Affiliate Account dashboard.
2. Promotion of Commissionable Products
2.1 You may promote only the products and subscriptions listed as commissionable using your Affiliate Link on websites, social media, email, or other channels, provided promotions comply with all applicable laws, including UK advertising standards (e.g., CAP Code) and data protection laws (e.g., UK GDPR, PECR).
2.2 Prohibited activities include:
• Spam, unsolicited email, or any form of illegal marketing.
• Misleading claims about commissionable products.
• Use of our trademarks in domain names, paid search ads (e.g., bidding on “SatzoneUK”), or in any way that implies endorsement without permission.
• Self-referrals or purchasing through your own Affiliate Link.
• Direct publication or advertising of any SatzoneUK email addresses.
2.3 You must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship (e.g., “#ad” or “affiliate link”) where required by law.
3. Referral Tracking and Cookie Period
3.1 Visits referred via your Affiliate Link are tracked using cookies with a 30-day cookie duration (“Cookie Period”).
3.2 A referred visitor is attributed to you if they complete a qualifying purchase within the Cookie Period.
3.3 Last-Click Attribution: The most recent Affiliate Link clicked claims the referral and any commission.
3.4 Tracking is managed via our systems; no claim for unrecorded referrals.
4. Qualifying Purchases and Commission
4.1 A “Qualifying Purchase” is a completed sale of commissionable products/subscriptions only where payment is received in full and not subsequently refunded, charged back, or cancelled.
4.2 Commission Rates: As stated on the Commissionable Products & Rates page (opens in new tab). Commission is calculated on base value only; excludes postage, packaging, or non-commissionable items.
4.3 30-Day Grace Period: Commissions are provisional for 30 days after each payment to account for refunds/chargebacks.
4.4 All commission data and calculations are managed exclusively in your Affiliate Account dashboard.
4.5 Claim Deadline: Valid commission claims must be submitted within 180 days of the commission reference date shown in the dashboard, otherwise the claim may be rejected.
5. Payout Process
5.1 Minimum Payout Threshold: £50 in confirmed commissions. Balances below £50 remain until met.
5.2 Commission claims are requested directly via the Payouts tab in your Affiliate Account dashboard by clicking the Request Payout button. At the point of submitting the request you must attach a valid invoice (PDF format) for the exact claimed amount. Claims cannot be processed or paid unless the corresponding invoice is successfully attached during the request process.
5.3 VAT on Invoices:
• VAT is not applicable to any product or service on this website.
• Non-VAT-registered Affiliates: Invoice the full confirmed amount (no VAT).
• UK VAT-registered Affiliates: Invoice the full confirmed amount inclusive of VAT (e.g., £100 confirmed = £100 total on invoice). Include your VAT number and show VAT separately if required. You are responsible for accounting for VAT to HMRC.
5.4 Payment: GBP Sterling by bank transfer to a standard UK current account only (details provided in dashboard). Payments will be made within 30 business days of a commission claim being accepted and, where required, receipt of a correctly issued invoice. Claims that are rejected, cancelled, placed under review, or marked as void are not accepted and therefore do not trigger the 30-business-day payment period.
6. Taxes and Compliance
6.1 You are solely responsible for all taxes on commissions earned.
6.2 VAT-registered Affiliates must treat commissions as taxable supplies and account for output VAT.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Limited, revocable licence to use approved materials for commissionable products only.
7.2 You grant us royalty-free use of your name/logo for marketing.
8. Termination and Account Inactivity
8.1 Either party may terminate participation with 7 days’ written notice via the dashboard.
8.2 We may terminate your account immediately for breach of these Terms, illegal activity, or damage to our reputation.
8.3 Inactivity Closure: We reserve the right to close any affiliate account without notice if there have been no successful referrals (completed purchases of commissionable products/subscriptions) in the preceding 180 days. Upon such closure, your Affiliate Link will be deactivated, all outstanding unclaimed commissions will be forfeited, and any entitlement to future recurring commissions will be rendered null and void.
8.4 On voluntary or notified termination: Affiliate Link deactivated; confirmed commissions ≥ £50 paid on valid claim; balances < £50 forfeited; any entitlement to future recurring commissions rendered null and void.
9. Liability and Disclaimers
9.1 Our records are final. Liability limited to commissions paid to you in the prior 12 months.
10. Governing Law
10.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales; exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Contact and Support
All actions and support are handled exclusively via the Affiliate Account dashboard or Affiliate Contact Form HERE (opens in new tab).
By participating, you confirm acceptance of these Terms.
