VPN-BASIC Fire TV / Firestick Installation & First-Time Connection Guide

(SatzoneUK VPN Service – Single-Server Edition)

Note: All steps are performed using your Fire TV remote. Prompt wording may vary slightly depending on your Fire OS version.

1. Enable Developer Options & Allow Apps from Unknown Sources

  1. From the Fire TV home screen go to Settings → My Fire TV → About.
  2. Highlight your device name (e.g. “Fire TV Stick 4K”) and press the Select button on the remote 7 times quickly until you see “You are now a developer!”.
  3. Press back, then choose Developer Options.
  4. Set ADB debugging → ON.
  5. Set Apps from Unknown Sources → ON (confirm the warning if shown).

2. Install the Downloader App (by AFTVnews)

  1. Return to the Fire TV home screen.
  2. Select the magnifying glass (Search) at the top left.
  3. Type Downloader using the on-screen keyboard.
  4. Select the orange Downloader app (developer: AFTVnews) from the results.
  5. Highlight Download or Get and press Select (it’s free).
  6. Wait for it to download and install, then press Open or return to the home screen.

3. Download & Install VPN-BASIC

  1. Open the Downloader app.
  2. When the URL box appears, type exactly: sz1.uk/b (or use the numeric keypad and enter 111111 if you prefer numbers).
  3. Press Go. The VPN-BASIC APK will download automatically.
  4. When the download finishes, the installer opens. Choose Install → Install again.
  5. After installation, select Done.
  6. Choose Delete the APK file to free up space → Delete again (recommended).

4. First-Time Connection

  1. Press the Home button → hold it → choose Apps to see all apps, or find VPN-BASIC in “Your Apps & Channels”.
  2. Launch VPN-BASIC.
  3. When the system dialog appears: “Connection request – VPN-BASIC wants to set up a VPN connection…” → select OK.
  4. If asked “Allow VPN-BASIC to send you notifications?” → select Allow.
  5. The Default European Server is already selected.
  6. Enter your provided Username and Password.
  7. Select CONNECT.
  8. Confirm any second prompt with OK.

Important: You must successfully connect once with your credentials. After the first successful connection, VPN-BASIC saves them – future connections need only a single tap.

5. Successful Connection

  • Status shows CONNECTED in green.
  • A key/VPN icon appears in the top status bar.

Disconnecting

Open VPN-BASIC again and select DISCONNECT.
